Is this really unlimited?


Yes - we do not have any usage limits with our wireless internet service. Speed will not be limited after using a certain amount of data, either.




Does it work at my location?


MapleWiFi leverages already existing cellular infrastructure to bring internet to all our users throughout Canada - including Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, Nova Scotia, Saskatchewan, New Brunswick, Manitoba, Yukon, Northwest Territories, Newfoundland and Labrador, Quebec and Prince Edward Island. And now, your MapleWiFi service will work in the USA at no extra charge! As long as you can get a LTE signal on a cell phone at your location, you can expect good to decent coverage with our hotspots. Not sure if you have signal? Click to fill out a coverage check form and a support representative will email you back to confirm. If the service isn't acceptable, we offer a full 7 day money back guarantee. Truckers / RVers (or other mobile users): We do not restrict the location you use your service. You can move it between homes, cottages or take it with you in your RV or truck, or on vacation - as long as you have cellular coverage, you will have service with us. What kind of speeds can I expect?


Speeds will depend on many factors - most importantly signal strength to your closest cell tower. You can check your speeds with your current cellular provider by running a SpeedTest on your cell phone while connected to data - you should expect similar speeds to what you currently get. Most users see between 20 - 80Mbps download, and 10-35Mbps upload, but we don't advertise a specific speed. Remember, if you aren't happy with your service you can get a full refund within 7 days!




How long does it take to ship my order?


Please allow 1-2 days for order processing. Shipping itself takes only 1-2 days.




Do you offer bulk pricing?


Yes. If you have a use case for unrestricted portable LTE internet connections for your fleet, POS systems, IOT setups, please contact us at support@maplewifi.com. 2 or more lines: 25% off the third and every additional line (if more than 10 lines, email us) If you are interested in starting a second service plan you must create a second user login with a different email address to purchase that plan, we do not support two service plans on one user account at this time. To get your 25% (or more) service discount for having 2 or more lines, simply email us at support@maplewifi.com once you've placed your order with the email address of the account you used with your first line (the 1st line doesn't get a discount) and we will adjust the billing cycle with a credit and assign a reoccuring 25% (or more) disccount. What devices do you use to provide your service?


The Nighthawk M1 is a portable hotspot and a home hub. It is ideal for ocassional or 24/7 use and can be connected to your own dedicated wireless router for extended WiFi coverage, and has dual TS9 ports for external antenna connection (optional) The AC797 mobile hotspot is also a portable battery powered hotspot and can be used ocassionally or 24/7 - but does not have an Ethernet port, so it cannot be connected to a dedicated wireless router. It also does not have external antenna ports. We suggest the AC797 to those that will be using the service in small buildings, vans, RVs or other mobile use cases where the extra features of the Nighthawk M1 are not needed. Ready to get started? What is the refund policy?


If within 7-days of starting your service, you are not satisfied - for any reason - simply let us know and we will provide a full refund and a return envelope to return your hotspot device. Do I need to schedule an installation?


No! Our service is plug-n-play and fully portable. You are not restricted to using it at one location. For large homes, we recommend using a dedicated router with your MapleWiFi Nighthawk M1 modem. While your MapleWiFi Nighthawk M1 modem includes a built in WiFi network for most users, it is not designed for use in large homes. You can connect a dedicated router to your MapleWiFi Nighthawk M1 modem using an Ethernet cable, included with all routers. For mobile users, both devices that we offer can be charged off a 12v USB power supply and left be left plugged in full time.




Your service is expensive - why?


Our service is a mobile internet service that is most comparable to a mobile Internet service from one of the Big Three networks in Canada - Rogers Mobile Internet Plan™, Bell Mobile Internet data plan™ or Telus Mobile Internet Plan™ - also known as a Rogers Rocket Hub™, Bell Turbo Hub™ or MiFi, or a Telus Smart Hub™ or MiFi. Going directly through Rogers, the highest data package you could get for their mobile internet service (as they don't even offer unlimited) is 50GB for $120.00/mo (plus $20 for every extra 10GB) + taxes Going directly thru Bell, the highest data package you could get (as they also don't offer unlimited) is 50GB for $150.00/mo (plus $3 for every GB extra) + taxes Going directly thru Telus, the highest data package you could get (as they also don't offer unlimited) is 50GB for $135.00/mo (plus $20 for every extra $10GB) + taxes None of the major carriers offer a plan that provides enough usage for full time internet access. Most households will use more than 400GB a month, and it increases with the more online streaming & internet services you use. Our service is a much better value than signing up with one of the major carriers directly - as you can get Unlimited data for a flat rate cost - with access to the same networks. Also - our service includes taxes and fees in our pricing AND you can cancel and resume at anytime.




Do I get anything for referring family or friends?


Yes. Send an email to support@maplewifi.com with the name(s) of anyone you have referred to us and we will credit your account with a free month of service. Want to earn even more? Can I cancel when I am not using the service?


Yes! This is a common request. You can cancel your MapleWiFi unlimited service at anytime, and since it is a prepaid service - your service will automatically stop working at the end of your current usage cycle (31 days) There is no fee to cancel. There is a $25 fee to restart your service if you previously cancelled it, and we may need to send you a new SIM card. Cancellation and restoration of service requests can be made via email at support@maplewifi.com!
